The Financial Action Task Force (“FATF”) has published two public consultations, both concerning the protection non-profit organisations (“NPOs”) from potential terrorist financing abuse.

The two consultations concern:

• The FATF Best Practice Paper to Combat the Abuse of Non-Profit Organisations;
• The Revision of Recommendation 8 and its Interpretive Note.

Stakeholders are invited to submit responses and/or drafting proposals to the public consultations by 18^th August 2023.
