EBA Outlines its 2024 work programme

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its work programme for 2024.

The programme sets out the key strategic areas for the EBA to work on in the coming year, as well as related activities and tasks.

Included in the EBA’s priorities for 2024 are:

  • Develop an oversight and supervisory capacity for The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and The Markets in Crypto-assets Regulation (MiCAR); and
  • Increase focus on innovation and consumers (including access to financial services) while preparing the transition to the new AML/CFT framework.

Firms can view the EBA’s work programme to remain up to date with the Authority’s priorities for the coming year.
