EBA launches consultation on Regulatory Technical Standards

The Standards specify the criteria for which Cryptoasset Service Providers (CASPs) should appoint a central contact point, along with the functions of those contact points;

These central contact points aim to facilitate effective communication between CAPs and national authorities, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF regulations.

🗓️ The deadline for submitting comments to the consultation paper is 4 February 2025.

💡 CASPs with operations in EU member states can review the proposed changes and submit comments via the EBA’s consultation page.
