OFAC and OFSI to Enhance Sanctions Implementation Support

The US Treasury’s OFAC & the UK’s Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation have decided to deepen their co-operation.

The statement highlighted their will to enhance both their own capabilities and the support they provide Financial Institutions in effective sanctions implementation.

The partnership will allow for a greater sharing of best practices and opportunities to pool expertise, aiding responses to threats such as the potential misuse of digital assets.
