FCA Announces New Presence in U.S. and Asia Pacific Regions

➡️ An individual has been seconded to the UK Embassy in Washington to support US firms navigate UK regulation and advise the Department for Business and Trade on joint financial services policy and regulation.

➡️ An office will be established in Australia in July 2025 with those based there focussing on supporting firms to navigate regulation to enter the UK market and supporting UK firms expand into the APAC region.

✅ Firms based in the US or APAC region should review the announcement and engage with the appropriate offices to seek guidance where necessary on UK regulation.
