RUSI launches the UK FATF Taskforce

The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) launched the UK FATF Taskforce to support the UK’s preparations for its next FATF mutual evaluation in 2027, which published its first meeting report.

 

Key highlights include:

  • Assessing the UK's progress in addressing deficiencies identified in its 2018 Mutual Evaluation Report;
  • Evaluating compliance with new or revised FATF Recommendations and Immediate Outcomes;
  • Preparing for the impact of the fifth-round methodology on the UK's evaluation process.
