The European Parliament published information on the citizenship by investment (CBI) and residence by investment (RBI) schemes, commonly referred to as ‘golden passport’ and ‘golden visa’ schemes

The EU is seeking to abolish CBI and RBI schemes, which allow third-country nationals to obtain residence or citizenship in a host country in exchange for a financial contribution
