The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (‘OFSI’) published updated guidance for the Charity Sector on the UK’s Financial Sanctions regime. The document covers questions relevant to charities and non-governmental organisations (‘NGOs’), especially those operating in areas where financial sanctions are in force. Financial Institutions who partner with NGOs and charities should ensure they are aware of their sanctions requirements.
