FATF follow-up report on Mexico

The Insider Dealing (Securities and Regulated Markets) Order 2023 enters into force on 15th June 2023.

The Order makers changes to Part 5 of the Criminal Justice Act 1993 and UK criminal insider dealing offences will now be extended to additional markets and financial instruments.

The extension of the rules aims to align the offence of insider dealing with the UK’s Market Abuse Regulation.

Firms should review the legislation to determine its potential impact, ensure that relevant staff are notified of the extended scope, and evaluate their policies, procedures and training as necessary.
