Connor Grainger


Connor is a Consultant with Plenitude Consulting and has a background in Law and Financial Services. Graduating from the University of Hull with an LLB in Law with Business, Connor began his career with Lexis Nexis, where he provided students and faculty staff with training sessions and tutorials on the legal database software.

Connor joined Plenitude from Ernst & Young’s Risk Management team. His role consisted of supporting the UK&I business with respect to client acceptance procedures. As part of this role, Connor identified gaps in processes and initiated change management requests to improve both regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness. Connor has experience of building relationships with senior stakeholders of EY’s global partnership, this has allowed him to confidently provide advice and support to critical client engagements.

Before his role with EY, Connor worked as a mortgage and insurance advisor for the UK’s largest fees free broker. During this time, Connor kept up to date with relevant MCOB rules and FCA guidance to ensure compliant advice could be provided to his clients.

Connor’s regulatory knowledge includes MCOB, JMLSG, and 5AMLD. He holds a certificate in CDD and KYC with the International Compliance Association and a Level 5 Diploma in Trading and Financial Markets Analysis.
