Women in Economic Crime: Strengthening the System

Plenitude, Rusi and ThreatFabric co-hosted an event for International Women's day

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to our International Women’s Day event!🌍

We had such a great turnout and brought together an incredible mix of women from across the economic crime space - from policy and national security through to fraud, cyber and financial crime. The energy in the room was incredible and we could have continued all evening!

We really appreciate everyone taking the time to spend the evening with us, share perspectives and contribute such thoughtful insights. We’ve loved seeing your feedback so far - please do keep sharing your photos and reflections!

Our first panel focused on breaking down siloes across organisations, highlighting the need for better collaboration, clearer accountability, and more connected approaches to data and intelligence sharing.

Our second panel explored resilience, careers and leadership, emphasising the importance of mentors, strong support networks and being clear about ambitions. One message stood out: people matter just as much as policy.

Some top insights from the evening:
🌟 Be authentic and values-led - trust your voice
🌟 Don’t wait for permission - advocate for yourself (and others!)
🌟 Stay curious and keep building your expertise
🌟 Surround yourself with people who support and challenge you
🌟 Growth can feel uncomfortable - but that’s often where the magic happens

Thank you again to everyone who made the evening so special and we can't wait for next years event!
