Deena has a strong background in risk and compliance, with over 5 years of experience in the banking sector across multiple areas of Risk.
At Plenitude, Deena has played a key role in tuning and optimising the Actimize Transaction Monitoring system for a Tier 1 Asian bank, supporting the implementation of thousands of updated thresholds to enhance alert quality, detection precision, and overall system effectiveness. She has also been involved in List Management activities, developing guidance and documentation to support the effective use of screening tools and ensure consistent application of controls.
Prior to joining Plenitude, Deena worked as a Data Analyst and Data Engineer within major British retail and multinational banks including Barclays, HSBC, and Lloyds. In those roles, she focused on monitoring, transforming, and testing data and models across data pipelines to strengthen data quality and support key risk and compliance functions.
Deena holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen Mary University of London and is recognised for her strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and practical approach to solving complex risk and compliance problems.
