Pedro Arevalo is a Senior Executive at Plenitude Consulting, specialising in Financial Crime Compliance advisory, change management and operations transformation. He holds a Cambridge MBA degree and over 20 years of total experience.
Pedro joined Plenitude Consulting after a successful management consulting career in Accenture, Deloitte, EY and directly in the financial services industry. He is an expert in the design and execution of Group Wide Risk Assessments; design, development and calibration of Financial Crime Client Risk Rating Methodologies; AML frameworks for Fintech and Cryptocurrency players and the specific financial crime risk associated with each industry or economic sector. He has strong knowledge of regulatory laws regulations and guidance globally, including guidance from FATF, FFIEC, JMLSG, UK MLR, GWG, EU4MLD, EU5MLD, ESA Risk Factor Guidelines as well as the National and Supranational Risk Assessments of the main global Financial Services markets.
He has consulted at large global Financial Institutions such as HSBC, Santander, Deutsche Bank, Danske Bank, Allianz and delivered several projects across several European countries including UK, Germany, Spain, Denmark, countries in Latin-America and Singapore.
